Muzungu Sisters pop-up shop at Momo
Throughout November and December, Mo Café has hosted an exclusive pop-up store for Muzungu Sisters - Dana Alikhani and Tatiana Santo Domingo - a fashion and lifestyle brand.
The brand of ethically sourced, handmade clothing and homeware from a range of ethnicities worldwide had found its perfect match in the MoCafe.
The brand is very much in keeping with the philosophy of Mourad Mazouz, world-renowned restaurateur, with a strong global perspective and creative interests.

Matthew Williamson invites the Moroccan Souk of Momo in its shop
For his latest collection, Matthew Williamson has found inspiration in the Moroccan Souks. So that was very naturally that he turned to Mourad to help him recreating the Souk atmosphere in his Bruton Street shop. Carpets, lanterns, antiques... and Momo special cocktails delighted the fashiony crowd of the Vogue Night Out. Jameela Jamil was among the friends who attended the party.
New Josper Oven!
Josper arrived among us.
Momo Restaurant is about glamour, about escape, about warmth but most of all, Momo is about delighting your papillas. So far, our chefs have been working really hard to seduce you but they just welcomed a serious ally in Josper.
Directly arriving from Spain, Josper is the new oven. On a charcoal, Josper grills veggies as well as meats or fishes. When traditional ovens provide a special flavour from the bottom, Josper allows the flavours to circulate, creating a wonderful mix.
Jasper sublimates every type of food that would happen to be enclosed behind its doors.

Fashion week
Momo's Mourad Mazouz celebrated the opening of his new bar Downstairs during fashion week, rounding up pals Tim Blanks, Stephen Jones, Camilla Lowther, Maia Norman, Katie Grand, Jerry Stafford and Kinder Aggugini to co-host the cocktail party.
Guests included Tilda Swinton, Charlotte Dellal, Charlotte Tilbury, Daisy de Villeneuve, Avril Oates, Judy Blame, Astrid Munoz, Gary Card, Phoebe Arnold and Marissa Montgomery, while Princess Julia and Nathan Wilkins provided the music.
The new bar sits underneath Momo Restaurant Familial on Heddon Street and features a copper-topped bar and python, leopard and velvet devoré surfaces. "Arabic nouveau riche from the 80s" said Mourad. "It's the most terrible room you ever saw. Item by item, it's disgusting, not even kitsch."
